You will receive a cleaning checklist which you must complete, sign and return with the keys.
If the rooms and shared facilities used are not left in a satisfactory condition, the association may charge for any necessary extra cleaning or clearing away.
6. Consideration for neighbours and shared outdoor areas

The tenant is responsible for their guests’ behaviour both in the Community House and in the surrounding shared areas.

If anything is broken, damaged or missing after the event, inform the association as soon as possible. The tenant may be charged for repairs or replacements; liability is not limited to the amount of the deposit.
Damage to installations, wiring or similar must be reported to the association immediately.
10. Existing damage and defects
If, at handover, you discover existing damage, missing equipment, inadequate cleaning or other significant issues, inform the association as soon as possible at handover and before the event or stay begins, so that the issue can be recorded as existing at the start of the rental.

Escape routes, exits and access to fire and safety equipment must always be kept clear. Safety equipment must not be moved, covered or used for other purposes.
By signing the rental agreement, the tenant confirms that they have read, understood and accepted the rental terms, house rules and conditions shown on the booking page when the agreement is made, as well as their responsibility for the rented rooms and their contents.

Rent and deposit are paid according to the current prices and payment terms on the booking page and in the booking confirmation, and must be paid before key handover. If you rent the main hall and guest room together, you pay one combined deposit of DKK 500.
Any issues are assessed after the rental. The DKK 500 deposit provides security for matters including insufficient cleaning or clearing away, damage, missing or damaged furnishings or tableware, and lost keys.
The association may retain all or part of the deposit to cover documented costs. If costs exceed the deposit, the remaining amount may be charged separately.
The part of the deposit relating to an unresolved damage claim or cost may be retained until the matter is resolved. If the tenant disagrees with the inspection outcome or deposit assessment, the matter may be referred to the association’s board.
The deposit is refunded to the tenant’s nominated bank account.
15. Cancellation
If you need to cancel the rental, notify Beboerforeningen Fredensgade Vest as early as possible. If you cancel, the deposit paid in connection with the booking will not be refunded.
16. Failure to comply with the conditions
If the conditions are not met, the association may:
- require the matter to be put right immediately
- retain all or part of the deposit
- charge for documented costs of cleaning, clearing away, repair or replacement
In the event of a serious or repeated breach the association may terminate the rental or loan, or refuse future bookings. This applies, among other circumstances, where necessary to protect safety, the Community House, its contents, neighbours or other residents in the area.
In the event of a serious breach, the association’s booking coordinator or board may terminate the rental or loan immediately without notice. If the rental or loan is terminated because of such a breach, rent and deposit already paid will not be refunded.
